Release Notes: Rename an Organization in ZEscrow
ZSuite Tech is introducing a new enhancement that gives Financial Institution (FI) Admins more flexibility and control over organization management in ZEscrow.
FI Admins can now update an organization’s name directly within ZEscrow - no manual workarounds or support requests required.
In many cases, a single entity maintains multiple holding accounts that need clear differentiation. For example:
Smith & Sons IOLTA
Smith & Sons 1031
With this update, organization names can be adjusted to accurately reflect their purpose, improving clarity across reporting, account management, and day-to-day operations.
FI Admins with the appropriate permissions can rename organizations directly in the platform.
Renaming an organization also updates the name used for tax reporting (e.g., 1099-INT forms). Please ensure any changes are reviewed carefully to maintain consistency and compliance.
This enhancement simplifies organization management while ensuring records remain accurate and aligned with account structures.
